Message	As for preparation costs, here's a rough breakdown for the safety equipment: Cage $2500-3000 with window net Fire Suit $700 HANS $710 Helmet $350 Steering wheel $200 Quick release $250 fireproof underwear, socks, balaclava $500 Shoes $100 Gloves $100 Fire Extinguisher $250 Longacre Mirror $50 Disconnect Switch $100 Battery $140 Battery Box $50 Seat+brackets and slider $1000 6pt Harness $380 Tow Hook $65 so that's a min of about 7500-8000 right there just for safety stuff. Doesn't include misc labor besides the cage, any of the suspension/tires/wheels/brakes/wing/bolt ons. Hard to keep track of how many man hours went into it. I know it took me three days alone getting the sound deadening out with a heat gun, scraper and wd-40.
